👋 Hello, I'm Alex. I am a software engineer specializing in developing applications for both web and mobile platforms, primarily utilizing React for web development and React Native for mobile applications. See my uses page for a full list of tools and tech that I use.

I focus on writing clean code and designing intuitive user interfaces, whilst adhering to best software practices such as testing, linting and formatting. I articulate complex ideas clearly, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.

My passion doesn't stop at code. I have a keen eye for good design and enjoy working with designers to ensure that what we build not only works well, but looks great and provides an excellent user experience.

I've worked in multiple environments, from unstructured to strict agile and scrum settings this has made me adaptable and quick to pick up new methodologies.

I advocate for development practices that enhance the developer experience (DX) and increase productivity, considering the unique dynamics of each team.

I use tools like Todoist and Notion, and follow practices from Kanban, Agile, and “Getting Things Done” to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and adapt as needed. This keeps me efficient and focused.
